Writing the Body, Dancing the Soul is a women’s gathering that offers safe and innovative approaches to healing early and recent trauma. Circle Dance, Journal Work, and Energy Techniques combine to provide gentle acknowledgment of and healing attention to stories and memories trapped in the body and energetic field. Participants experience a sense of completion and even triumph when addressing old and recent wounds with the gentle energies of dance, story telling, and energy work.

Lunch will be an exercise and part of the Women’s Gathering. Please bring your brown bag lunch or your fixings for lunch as we are going to share how and why we choose what we eat. Participants may use Neskaya’s kitchen facilities as part of our day.

Overnight accommodation is an option. If anyone is driving from afar or just wishes to stay overnight, there are dormitory style sleeping arrangements upstairs. The cost is $25 a night and includes towels, bedding and shower facilities. To reserve a bed email [email protected] and ask about availability.

Number of participants includes a minimum of 10 women and maximum of 35 for the gathering. Please register ASAP to reserve your space.
